Volando is an ultra-premium tequila and agave spirits brand from the Highlands of Jalisco, made for moments that elevate our lives.

The Problem
Volando had a beautiful product, a strong founder story, and shelf presence — but it was competing in a crowded premium tequila category on the same terms as everyone else.
Every dollar spent on promotion was a cost centre, every activation was a one-off, and there was no defensible position that separated Volando from a dozen other premium brands chasing the same bars, the same buyers, and the same occasions.
They needed a strategy that turned their brand into a category of one.
What We Built Together
We built Volando an entire celebration ecosystem — a go-to-market strategy where every promotional activity became its own revenue-generating business unit.
That meant a full brand architecture built around Celebrate the Moment, with two new premium expressions developed to anchor it: Volando Selección as the ultra-premium pinnacle tier, and Evento de Blanco as a wholesale-only bottle designed to win first-pour contracts at major events without compromising retail positioning.
We designed a distribution model built on mobile bar franchises and venue bar anchor-and-exit plays — trucks and venues that get sold as going concerns once the market is activated, recovering capital to open the next location. We built a tiered membership and credits system designed to create a self-reinforcing loyalty loop, and a gift pack range from $100 to $999 engineered to solve the premium-gifting gap at the shelf.
We reset the creative direction from dark masculine to a boho-western aesthetic built for weddings, corporate celebrations, and photo-worthy moments. We designed a venue activation playbook that positions Volando as a marketing partner rather than just another brand on the back bar. And we architected a federation-style global expansion model and an annual flagship event designed to function as a 12-month marketing engine.
The Outcome
We delivered Volando a complete strategic platform — brand architecture, distribution model, creative direction, membership economics, campaign system, and global expansion framework — all built on a single unifying idea: own celebration as a category.
The result is a brand that no longer competes on shelf space. It competes on occasion. Every touchpoint, from the trucks to the venues to the gift packs to the annual event, now reinforces the same position and funds the next activation. Volando walked away with a go-to-market strategy that's defensible, scalable, and designed to make every promotional dollar work twice.
